Job Description

Director of Product

B2B SaaS business at a pivotal stage in its scale journey. The company has grown to ~400 people, with more than half joining in the last 12 months, and they have clear plans to grow from £50M ARR to £200M ARR in the coming years. Retention is exceptional (96–98%), the product organisation has real momentum, and the company is preparing for further expansion in the UK and US.

You will step into the role of Director of Product, operating as a critical partner to the CPO and taking responsibility for a multi-team product group of c.10 PMs across several specialised verticals. The groundwork has been set by a long-standing internal leader, and you will now shape the next chapter.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will bring clarity, structure and high performance to a fast-moving environment. You will:

  • Set strategic direction across several product verticals
  • Strengthen the operating rhythm and drive execution with urgency
  • Make high-quality decisions using judgment, data, and structured reasoning
  • Lead and develop PM leaders through coaching, feedback and expectations
  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics and GTM to ensure alignment
  • Improve team productivity through AI-enabled workflows
  • Create a culture of accountability, focus and momentum
  • Partner with the CPO to elevate the entire product organisation

You’ll be part of the senior leadership group (Data, Engineering, Design). This is not an Executive Team seat – it is a hands-on leadership role where you shape the work, the people and the outcomes.

Who You Are

You are someone who brings:

  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS product management
  • At least five years leading and managing people and multi-squad product teams
  • Experience managing managers
  • Experience inside a scaling environment of similar size and complexity
  • A structured, analytical, systems-driven mindset
  • High EQ and thoughtful stakeholder management
  • A strong sense of accountability, pace and operational discipline
  • Excellent product judgment and the ability to make calls amid ambiguity
  • A desire to raise standards and strengthen how product teams operate

You don’t need fintech or financial data experience.

This won’t suit people from banking, slow enterprise environments, or non tech corporates

Why This Is Worth Considering

If you want to operate at a genuinely strategic inflection point – with the scale, complexity and ambition to stretch you – this role offers that. You’ll have the scope to lead multiple teams, shape the product organisation, and influence a company with real momentum and a clear plan for its next phase of growth.

  • Hybrid: company standard is 1 day/week, hiring manager typically attends 3 days (flexible)
  • London-based (multiple office locations near Tower Hill / Liverpool Street)
  • Visa transfer possible; relocation unlikely
