As an API Engineer , you\’ll be critical in ensuring complex data is easily accessible and consumable. You will design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and well-documented APIs that power internal and external applications. What You\’ll Do Build the Engine: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs using Python, with a strong focus on FastAPI . Integrate Data: Build efficient data querying mechanisms from structured databases. Champion Best Practices: Uphold high standards for clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Who We\’re Looking For You are a seasoned API builder with a proven track record of shipping high-quality services. You have strong expertise in FastAPI and a deep understanding of how to build production-grade APIs used at scale. Must Have: Strong expertise in Python and the FastAPI framework. Strong experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization. Nice to Have: Experience with data transformation tools like DBT. Proficiency with AI-powered development tools. Experience or interest in supply chain, agri-food tech, or geospatial platforms.
