Numero Recruitment have been engaged to speak with experienced Insolvency professionals regarding an excellent opportunity in a large International Accountancy Practice firm. Joining as a Insolvency Senior Manager you will be supporting the Restructuring & Insolvency Director in managing the team and developing the Insolvency & Restructuring service line across the region.
The Role:
- Taking the lead on corporate insolvency procedures – liquidations (insolvent), administrations and voluntary arrangements.
- Applying up-to-date knowledge of appropriate case law and legislation.
- Prioritising and resolves conflicting client demands.
- Keeping director informed of case progress and any problems arising.
- Supporting and developing the use of new methods and service/product offerings to clients.
- Leading and supervising the team, allocating work to team members and ensuring the team complete work to agreed deadlines.
- Providing on the job training and coaching to team members
- Considering the development needs and skills of those under supervision, organising tasks and responsibilities.
- Reviewing the work of others and providing formal and informal feedback.
- Acting as a point of contact for both director and client, ensuring both are kept fully informed of any issues arising and the progress of the cases.
- Building strong working relationships with the client, ensuring any problems or requests are dealt with promptly.
- Assisting the team with marketing and business development activities.
- Identifying and converting opportunities (business development)
Requirements:
- Significant experience of managing corporate insolvency procedures – liquidations (insolvent), administrations (including trading and prepacks) and voluntary arrangements.
- Holds up-to-date knowledge of appropriate insolvency case law and legislation
- Proven ability to show vision and strategic perspective – focused on the achievement of longer term goals.
- As this position involves client contact, the person must be able to present a professional image to the firm’s clients.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills required.
- Desire to help grow and develop the department.
- Ability to develop new initiatives.
- Ability to identify issues through sound analysis and application of commercial acumen in all situations.
- Ability to express ideas with authority and conviction throughout verbal and written communication.
- Ability to develop self and others.
- Proven track record of winning work and client handling
