The Consumer Insight Director is a pivotal role in shaping how Mondelez uses panel data to inform commercial and strategic decision‑making. You will translate complex business questions into clear, compelling, consumer‑centric actions, while leading the GB account and partnering closely with Europanel to drive regional and global insight impact.
This role combines client leadership, commercial ownership, insight excellence and people development, playing a critical role in both protecting and growing a flagship account.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Leadership & Delivery
- Own and ensure best‑in‑class delivery of the contracted service to Mondelez GB.
- Design, implement and continuously improve servicing models and processes to maximise efficiency and impact.
- Act as the senior escalation point for the account, ensuring issues are resolved swiftly and effectively.
- Commercial Ownership
- Be accountable for achieving the GB bookings target for the account.
- Build, manage and review a robust opportunity pipeline to ensure revenue targets are met.
- Identify and drive growth opportunities across the UK and Europe, working closely with Europanel to unlock regional and global revenue.
- People Leadership
- Lead, coach and mentor the account team to deliver consistently high standards of client service.
- Ensure regular development conversations take place, with PDPs clearly defined and actively progressed.
- Support workload planning, capability development and day‑to‑day team performance.
- Team & Business Contribution
- Contribute to the wider BUD team’s ambition for excellence.
- Share expertise to upskill colleagues and strengthen storytelling capability across the business.
- Own defined elements of the team strategy, actively contributing to the vision of being best‑in‑class storytellers.
External (Mondelez)
- Client Relationship Leadership
- Hold day‑to‑day senior responsibility for the GB contracted service.
- Build and deepen relationships with key stakeholders across multiple functions, maintaining strong visibility and credibility.
- Insight & Solution Leadership
- Be a recognised expert across take‑home and OOH panels, ensuring insights clearly demonstrate ROI on Mondelez’s investment.
- Confidently articulate and position advanced solutions to address Mondelez’s key business questions.
- Keep ad‑hoc and strategic projects “alive” in the business by clearly demonstrating ongoing value and impact.
- Strategic Programme Delivery
- Embed and bring to life Shopper Segmentation and Demand Spaces initiatives, ensuring maximum ROI from Mondelez’s significant investment.
- Work with Mondelez to further integrate the MyWP platform into their organisation, enabling efficient self‑serve and freeing up time for higher‑value strategic work.
- Client Engagement
- Regular on‑site presence in Uxbridge to strengthen relationships and collaboration.
