Senior Product Manager
Nume — AI CFO for Founders
Overview
At Nume, we\'re pioneering the world\'s first AI CFO, a proactive thought partner that founders can trust to stay on top of their finances while they sleep and support financial decisions while they work. Our mission is to empower the world\'s founders to build the business of their dreams with confidence – and without needing to hire a finance lead. Live in beta with thousands of founders on the waitlist, Nume is poised to become one of Europe\'s next fintech unicorns.
We\'re a team of ex-founders and high-level operators who value ownership, candor, and impact. We\'re looking for a Senior Product Manager who operates like a founder: a peer to the CPO, trusted with initiative-level accountability (not ticket-taking) across as many meaningful surface areas as you can handle – such as growth & activation or reliability & integrations – and able to rotate domains as the business evolves.
Your Core Competencies
You bring mastery across the three pillars of product. We\'ll evaluate (and you\'ll operate) through this lens:
1) Product Strategy – choose the right problems and move the right metrics
- Own a core outcome (e.g., activation, early retention, LLM reliability) with a clear thesis and roadmap
- Tell a metrics story: define baselines, leading indicators, and the sequence of bets to get from A → B
- Think in systems: map the value chain (data → model → UX → behavior → revenue) and prioritize high-leverage cuts
- Create focus: trade off good ideas in favor of the few that compound; say \"no\" with evidence and integrity
- Write strategy clearly (one-pager/brief) so design/eng can move fast without follow-ups
2) Product Discovery – generate, test, and validate solutions quickly
- Facilitate collaborative ideation workshops which bring out the best of our intelligence to produce the best ideas
- Prototype yourself by vibe coding UX and prompting agents to learn before you build
- Validate with users (interviews, usability studies, concierge pilots) and capture crisp problem statements and decision logs
- Instrument learning: define analytics and guardrails to separate signal from noise
- Partner with eng/design/SME early: co-debug hypotheses, evaluate feasibility, reduce delivery risk
- Translate discovery into clear, minimal PRDs that preserve intent and outcomes
3) Product Delivery – ship reliably and iterate with pace
- Run a tight strategy → discovery → delivery loop (weekly reviews, monthly retros, quarterly bets)
- Collaborate deeply with engineering: unblock, sequence, and de-risk; maintain momentum without creating chaos
- Build the muscles: dashboards, definitions, alerting; a weekly metrics ritual that guides iteration
- Land quality with AI: treat traces, evals, and prompts as first-class craft; prevent regressions before they hit users
- Communicate like an owner: status, risks, and next moves—brief, honest, actionable
Your Particular Passions (on top of the craft)
- You are passionate about AI – You\'re obsessed over the latest AI product news. You\'ve shipped AI features and you\'re comfortable writing your own evals, iterating on prompts with engineers, and reading traces to spot failure patterns.
- You care about finance for founders – You\'ve lived or closely supported the founder finance journey—cash, runway, invoicing, reconciliations, \"what should I do next?\" You bring empathy for the workflows and curiosity for the edge cases. You want to help founders master their finances.
- You have a founder mindset – Ideally you\'ve been a founder or senior operator. You prioritize outcomes ruthlessly, operate with low politics and high integrity, and turn ambiguity into clarity, then into shipped value.
This Role Is for You If…
- You want in at the ground floor of an AI-native startup with real unicorn potential
- You thrive with A-players and learn fast from experienced founder-operators
- You want to grow into a very senior product leader – or a future founder – via end-to-end ownership
- You want real autonomy and true ownership over a meaningful product domain
- You\'re inspired by a founder-focused future where AI helps people productise their uniqueness and master their finances
