Game Frontend Developer
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Game Frontend Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for implementing user interfaces, gameplay interactions, and visual effects, turning creative designs into engaging player experiences across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain game frontend features using engines or frameworks such as Unity, Unreal, Cocos, or HTML5.
- Implement UI/UX designs including login screens, main menus, inventory, in-game shops, quests, and HUD elements.
- Optimize client performance to ensure smooth gameplay on PC, mobile, and web platforms.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and manage data interactions.
- Create engaging animations and effects for UI transitions, skills, and reward systems.
- Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation, testing, and debugging.
- Iterate on features and user experience based on QA testing and player feedback.
Requirements
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Experience with Unity (C#), Unreal Engine (C++/Blueprints), or Cocos Creator is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Canvas, and WebGL for implementing complex UI and animations.
- Understanding of frontend architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM) and best coding practices.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and WebSocket for client-server communication.
- Hands-on experience with performance optimization (memory management, frame rate, asset loading).
