We have a highly respected Client who are looking for an experienced and highly capable Plant Mechanic to join their team in West London. This is not an entry-level position. They operate to exceptionally high standards and are looking for someone who takes real pride in their workmanship, is reliable/committed and has the ability to keep critical machinery operating safely and efficiently.
The Role
Duties will include servicing, diagnostics, repairs, fabrication and welding across a varied fleet including:
- Crushers
- Screeners
- Aggregate washing plant
- Excavators from 1T to 50T
- A30 dump trucks
- Dozers
- Loading shovels
- Smaller plant and tools
You must be able to work under your own initiative, troubleshoot faults efficiently, and maintain equipment to a very high standard.
What We're Looking For
- Strong heavy plant mechanical experience
- Welding and fabrication ability essential
- Experience with quarry, recycling or aggregate equipment highly desirable
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Able to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- High attention to detail and safety standards
Hours
Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday: 7:00am - 2:00pm
