We have a highly respected client who is seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic to join their busy workshop and field support operation in West London. We are looking for a skilled and dependable mechanic who can work to exceptionally high standards and take pride in maintaining a hardworking commercial fleet.

The Role

  • Servicing and repairs on a predominantly Scania and Volvo fleet
  • Welding and fabrication work
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults
  • Attending vehicle breakdowns when required
  • Maintaining vehicles to a high operational and safety standard

You must be capable of working under your own initiative and able to efficiently manage workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial vehicle mechanical experience
  • Experience with Scania and Volvo trucks preferred
  • Welding experience advantageous
  • Ability to diagnose faults independently
  • Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
  • Full UK driving licence preferred

Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
  • Saturday: 7:00am – 2:00pm
