Number 10 Hotel are looking for a reliable and hard-working night porter to join the team.

As our Night Porter you must have:

• Previous Hotel Night Porter experience
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest services
• Courteous and pleasant attitude towards guests and other team members
• Patience and good listening skills
• Good telephone manner and IT Skills
• Ability to work under pressure and able to multitask
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to take initiative and a practical approach to problem solving
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Industry experience preferred but not essential

As a Night Porter you will be required to:

• Be responsible for hotel security and guest welfare during the night
• Conduct regular floor walks and security checks, ensuring fire exits are kept clear and any defaults are reported to Management
• Follow correct procedures in the event of an emergency
• Preparing nightly audit reports
• Answer telephones
• Deal with any guest queries or complaints in a professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
• Check in any late arrivals and check out any early departures to company standard
• Clear down of any evening functions, ensuring guests leave promptly and safely
• Set up of any events for the following day
• Set up for breakfast
• Serve in the bar and restock fridges
• Clean all public areas including restaurant and function suite to a high standard
