We are seeking a skilled and proactive Oracle Applications Developer to join our IT & Digital Services (IT&DS) Development team. This role is instrumental in supporting and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2.12), with a focus on modules across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and more.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a key member of the IT&DS Development team, supporting and developing Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) particularly in the areas of ASCP, Planning, Forecasting, Manufacturing, Sales, Warehousing, Purchasing and Finance.
- Develop and maintain solutions using Oracle PL/SQL, Forms and Reports 10g, JDeveloper, Oracle Workflow, EDI, ADI, XML, Publisher, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
- Provide extensive support and development for Mobile Web Applications (MWA)
- Demonstrate strong functional knowledge in one or more of the following modules: SCM, Manufacturing and Finance.
- Leverage key Oracle technologies such as ISG and Business Events to enable seamless application integrations.
- Utilise standard source control tooling and processes such as Git.
- Work closely with the Development Team, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, DBAs, and Functional Support staff to design, develop, test, document, and implement new business processes and system enhancements.
- Provide support, bug resolution, patch management, testing, documentation, and training in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the IT&DS development team.
ENHANCED TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Oracle Technologies: Proven experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports 10g, Oracle Workflow, XML Publisher, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), JDeveloper, ADI, EDI Gateway, ISG and Business Events.
- Mobile Development: Experience with Oracle Mobile Web Applications (MWA) is preferred.
- Database & Performance: Strong ability to diagnose and tune SQL performance.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or equivalent would be beneficial.
- Reporting & BI: BI Publisher and Power BI – basic exposure.
- Cross-Platform Integration: Experience integrating Oracle EBS with third-party systems such as eCommerce, CRM, PIM, PLM, and other enterprise applications.
