The Role

As our primary onsite technical partner in London, you will ensure IT is a visible, integrated, and reliable part of the office. You will move beyond solving tickets to owning initiatives end-to-end, providing technical expertise and insights to help shape our broader IT strategy. You will balance high‑level project delivery with a helpful, visible on-site presence to keep BAU tasks running smoothly while giving staff a trusted point of contact for support and guidance.

You\’ll be:

• A Vital Technical Contributor: partnering with business leads to provide essential insights for strategic decisions that keep systems in sync with a fast-scaling business.
• Project Lead & Owner: owning IT projects from planning through delivery, aligning with business goals while maintaining daily on-site support.
• A Visible Onsite Partner: working with other IT engineers and owning the first-line experience for the London office.
• Master of the Juggling Act: prioritising to hit deadlines without compromising general support or office infrastructure.
• Infrastructure & Security Lead: managing remote assets via MDM (e.g., Kandji), maintaining SSO-based access, and ensuring physical office infrastructure (cabling, CCTV) is functional and tidy.
• Technical Mentor: raising the bar by embedding ITIL practices and assisting others with complex troubleshooting.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A knack for juggling priorities: proven ability to prioritise in a high-pressure environment while maintaining essential daily support.
• Strong professional presence: clear communication with people at all levels, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
• Desire for new challenges: solid IT or systems administration experience with a proactive mindset and readiness for a senior-level role.
• Hands-on technical expertise: proficiency with Google Workspace, macOS, and Windows device management.
• Operational excellence: experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Freshservice or Jira Service Desk) and thorough documentation.

It’s a bonus if you have:

• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with both macOS and Windows device management.
• IT certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL, or similar).
