The role involves being a hands-on operator across PPC and Paid Social, contributing to Numan's growth engine. You will report to the Head of Growth and support the PPC Lead and Paid Social Lead in scaling Numan's largest acquisition channels.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Executing hands-on across PPC and paid social — building, editing and optimising campaigns directly in Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Meta and Smartly.
  • Supporting both leads day-to-day: turning strategy into live activity, owning the operational workload, and collaborating on strategy.
  • Keeping accounts healthy — proactively monitoring performance and platform diagnostics, spotting issues early, and investigating root causes.
  • Bringing analytical rigour to performance: understanding what's driving change, articulating it clearly, and proposing optimisation actions tied to expected outcomes.
  • Contributing to a high-velocity testing culture across creative, bidding, structure and landing experiences.
  • Using Smartly to support scaled, template-led paid social production.
  • Constantly asking how AI and tooling can make the work easier, faster and sharper.
  • Supporting value-based bidding, signal quality and LTV-led optimisation.
  • Collaborating across brand, creative, CRO, SEO and data as part of a single growth system.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Around 4–5 years' experience in performance marketing, with genuine hands-on skill across both PPC and paid social.
  • The ability to work directly in-platform — Google Ads, Google Ads Editor and Meta.
  • A strong analytical foundation: comfortable with performance data and able to explain what's happening and why.
  • An AI-first instinct — you naturally reach for tools and automation to do better work.
  • A real appetite to learn — you want to be coached by experts and ask good questions.
  • High execution energy and ownership — you make things happen.
  • Comfort operating in a regulated or compliance-aware environment.
  • Curiosity about the wider growth picture and excitement about a role that can expand beyond its starting remit.

It's a bonus if you have:

  • Hands-on experience with Smartly.io or a similar creative automation tool.
  • Experience in a regulated, high-LTV or high-growth category.
  • Exposure to value-based bidding, CAPI / server-side tracking, or signal and conversion optimisation.
  • Familiarity with attribution, incrementality and unit economics.
  • Experience with creative testing frameworks or tools like Motion.
  • Exposure to broader growth levers — SEO, CRO, display, native, affiliates or channel diversification.

Our benefits include:

  • Share options.
  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays (increasing to 30 the longer you stay with Numan).
  • Health insurance with Vitality.
  • Electric car salary sacrifice scheme with Octopus.
  • Enhanced maternity and parental leave.
  • Nursery benefit provided by YellowNest.
  • Employee assistance programme.
  • Generous pension.
  • Flexible working options, including a dog-friendly office in Farringdon.
  • Personal training and development budget via Learnerbly.
  • Wellhub membership.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Season ticket loan.
  • Discount on Numan products for your friends and family.
  • Paid volunteering days.
  • An additional 2 weeks off once you reach your 5th anniversary with Numan.
