We're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to sit at the heart of Numan's growth engine — a hands‑on operator across PPC and Paid Social who is hungry to learn, fast to execute, and energised by working alongside two of the best specialists in their fields.
This is a build–and‑grow role. Reporting into the Head of Growth, you'll work day‑to‑day in support of our PPC Lead and Paid Social Lead as they scale Numan's largest acquisition channels. You'll be contributing to the overall strategy and executing against it, learning directly from people who live and breathe these platforms. In return, you get something rare: structured development from genuine domain experts, with the runway to grow into a much broader growth remit over time.
If you've spent a few years getting genuinely good at performance marketing, you're motivated by getting better still, and you want to do it inside a fast‑moving, regulated challenger brand building something category‑defining — this role was built for you.
You'll be:
- Executing hands‑on across PPC and paid social — building, editing and optimising campaigns directly in Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Meta and Smartly, under the direction of the PPC and Paid Social Leads.
- Supporting both leads day‑to‑day: turning strategy into live activity, owning the operational workload, and collaborating with them on strategy.
- Keeping accounts healthy — proactively monitoring performance and platform diagnostics, spotting issues early, and investigating root causes rather than surface symptoms.
- Bringing analytical rigour to performance: understanding what's driving change, articulating it clearly, and proposing optimisation actions tied to expected outcomes.
- Contributing to a high‑velocity testing culture across creative, bidding, structure and landing experiences — moving ideas from concept to live at pace.
- Using Smartly to support scaled, template‑led paid social production — and getting fluent fast if you haven't used it before.
- Constantly asking how AI and tooling can make the work easier, faster and sharper — automating the repetitive and pulling insight out of the data more efficiently.
- Supporting value‑based bidding, signal quality and LTV‑led optimisation as we move beyond first‑order CPA.
- Collaborating across brand, creative, CRO, SEO and data as part of a single growth system.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Around 4–5 years' experience in performance marketing, with genuine hands‑on skill across both PPC and paid social.
- The ability to work directly in‑platform — Google Ads, Google Ads Editor and Meta — and make confident, well‑reasoned changes.
- A strong analytical foundation: comfortable with performance data, able to explain what's happening and why, and to link actions to results.
- An AI‑first instinct — you naturally reach for tools and automation to do better work, extract insight faster, and remove friction from the day.
- A real appetite to learn — you want to be coached by experts, you ask good questions, and you get better quickly.
- High execution energy and ownership — you make things happen and don't wait for the perfect brief.
- Comfort operating in a regulated or compliance‑aware environment, where creativity and execution have to work within guardrails.
- Curiosity about the wider growth picture, and genuine excitement about a role that can expand well beyond its starting remit.
It's a bonus if you have:
- Hands‑on experience with Smartly.io or a similar creative automation / feed‑based production tool.
- Experience in a regulated, high‑LTV or high‑growth category (health, fintech, subscription, DTC).
- Exposure to value‑based bidding, CAPI / server‑side tracking, or signal and conversion optimisation.
- Familiarity with attribution, incrementality and unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback).
- Experience with creative testing frameworks or tools like Motion.
- Exposure to broader growth levers — SEO, CRO, display, native, affiliates or channel diversification.
Our benefits include share options and 25 days holiday.
