The Role At Numan, we’re building a new generation of intelligent healthcare experiences that combine the best of human expertise and system intelligence to help people live healthier, happier, longer lives. This role sits at the centre of that ambition, leading product for our Core Experience team as we redefine how patients interact with healthcare across mobile, conversational and AI‑powered experiences. You’ll be responsible for translating product strategy into exceptional execution, ensuring our teams solve the right problems, build the right solutions, and deliver measurable improvements for both patients and the business. You’ll own the delivery of the Core Experience product while influencing the strategy, discovery and cross‑functional decisions that shape its future.

The Team This role leads product for the Core Experience team. You will drive cross‑functional alignment and execution across Product, Design, Engineering, and Clinical cohorts, partnering directly with Product Leadership to align daily execution with Numan's long‑term strategic goals.

  • Product Direction & Strategy Translate product strategy into clear, actionable direction for the Core Experience team, ensuring day‑to‑day decisions contribute to long‑term product goals. Shape product direction for Core Experience in partnership with Product Leadership. Translate strategic objectives into clear product priorities and execution plans. Own prioritisation decisions for your area, balancing patient value, business impact, and technical feasibility. Ensure roadmap, prioritisation, and delivery decisions remain aligned with long‑term product direction.
  • Product Discovery & Decision Making Ensure the team consistently solves meaningful problems rather than simply delivering requested features. Lead product discovery across Core Experience, identifying opportunities that improve patient outcomes and business performance. Use research, analytics, and experimentation to improve product decisions and reduce uncertainty. Frame problems clearly and develop multiple solution options before committing to delivery. Work closely with Design, Engineering, and Clinical teams throughout discovery. Build evidence into decision‑making, while remaining comfortable making decisions where perfect certainty isn’t possible.
  • Outcome‑Driven Product Delivery Own the successful delivery of your product area, ensuring every significant investment creates measurable value for patients and the business. Own the success metrics for your product area and use them to guide prioritisation and decision‑making. Lead cross‑functional delivery across Product, Design, and Engineering, maintaining clarity around priorities, scope, and sequencing. Maintain a consistently high bar for product quality, ensuring every experience is coherent, polished, and valuable for patients. Identify opportunities to improve patient engagement, treatment adherence, satisfaction, and long‑term health outcomes. Continuously measure the impact of what you’ve shipped, using evidence and learning to refine future decisions and improve product performance.
  • Intelligent Product Experiences Identify opportunities where AI, ML, and intelligent systems can meaningfully improve patient experience as Numan 2.0 evolves beyond traditional, screen‑heavy applications. Work with Design and Engineering to create experiences that combine conversational, predictive, and traditional interaction models to best effect. Help design products that adapt to patient context, behaviour, and progress over time. Balance innovation with clinical safety, proposition clarity, and trust. Ensure intelligent behaviour feels useful, understandable, and genuinely valuable to patients.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience leading product for high‑quality consumer digital products.
  • Has experience owning complex product areas from discovery through delivery.
  • Has experience shipping mobile products used by large numbers of customers.
  • Has a strong track record of translating strategy into successful execution.
  • Has experience using research, analytics, and customer insight to guide product decisions.
  • Has experience working in highly collaborative Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
  • Brings excellent product judgement and the ability to make thoughtful trade‑offs in ambiguous environments.
  • Possesses strong discovery skills with a focus on understanding problems before building solutions.
  • Demonstrates excellent delivery and execution capability, bringing clarity and momentum to cross‑functional teams.
  • Has a strong understanding of AI‑enabled digital products and how intelligent behaviour can improve user experience.
  • Can balance patient needs, commercial objectives, and technical constraints.
  • Possesses excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Maintains high standards for product quality, with a strong instinct for what creates genuinely valuable customer experiences.

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries.
  • Experience building AI‑enabled consumer products.
  • Experience working on products that drive long‑term engagement and behaviour change.

Benefits:

  • Share options
  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays (increasing to 30 the longer you stay with Numan)
