The Role We are looking for a Vice President of Product Management to lead the Product function at Numan - someone who can simultaneously shape high-level vision and strategy while engaging deeply in the detail required to drive a highly execution-focused and impactful organisation. This is a unique opportunity to define the future of healthcare by building an integrated, personalised health platform that empowers patients to live healthier, longer lives. You’ll join the Leadership Team to define and drive Numan’s product strategy, scaling a world-class team and embedding a modern product culture. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, commercial, clinical, operations, and data leaders to bring to life our mission: turning complex healthcare needs into frictionless patient journeys.

You’ll be:

• Directing the vision, strategy, and execution of Numan’s product roadmap, aligned with our mission and commercial goals.
• Defining and evolving our multi-year product strategy to support company growth, expand our impact, and deliver measurable outcomes for patients.
• Building, leading, and developing a high-performing, empowered Product organisation across multiple squads and product lines.
• Instilling outcome-led, hypothesis-driven product planning that connects discovery with delivery.
• Championing patient-centric product development based on behavioural insights, data, clinical evidence, and rigorous experimentation.
• Collaborating closely with Engineering, Clinical, Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure alignment across all initiatives.
• Scaling our product development processes and rituals to match our mission while staying agile and responsive.
• Bringing clarity and focus to complex, multi-dimensional problems through systems thinking, systems awareness, and effective communication.
• Promoting a culture of curiosity, learning, and continuous improvement across all product teams.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Extensive experience leading cross-functional product teams in B2C or consumer-platform environments, ideally with significant exposure to regulated industries (e.g. HealthTech, FinTech, or InsurTech).
• A proven track record of building and scaling empowered product teams that drive business growth and customer impact.
• Deep knowledge of modern product development principles, including continuous discovery, experimentation, and dual-track agile.
• Strong understanding of systems thinking and experience designing user journeys that span digital and physical healthcare touchpoints.
• Demonstrated ability to connect product strategy with business models, commercial outcomes, and operational feasibility.
• Experience managing multiple product lines and collaborating across departments, including Engineering, Clinical, Data, Commercial, and Operations.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
• A pragmatic, adaptive leadership style: capable of adjusting to the organisation’s needs while maintaining high standards and momentum.
• A strong sense of ownership, with a bias for action and a focus on measurable results.

It’s a bonus if you have:

• Experience scaling consumer health or wellness products that blend digital tools, diagnostics, and clinical services.
• Familiarity with outcomes-based care models, preventive health frameworks, or behavioural change platforms.
• Hands-on experience operating in hybrid (tech + clinical) product environments.
• A background working with international markets or experience expanding product offerings into new geographies.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g. CQC, MHRA, GDPR) and how to build compliant products without compromising user experience.
• Previous experience at a scaling, mission-driven startup or scale-up.
