Develop, lead and conduct world-class research in one or more of the defined areas.

Strong record in one or more of: large-scale AI systems and architectures; optimisation/learning theory; quantum information/quantum communication; AI for engineering.
Demonstrated experience or a strong interest in interdisciplinary, international research and partnerships, with particular emphasis on bridging research between Europe and the US.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to collaborate with industry and academic stakeholders globally.
Salary: £49,469 to £60,795 p.a. for Assistant Professor (Grade 8) (depending on qualifications and experience); £59,030 to £79,276 p.a. for Associate Professor (Grade 9) (depending on qualifications and experience).
