Location: Birchwood Park, Risley, Warrington.

Arrangement: 37.5 Hours per week, Permanent.

Work arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days at home.

NUVIA’s Technical Services & Consulting (TS&C) team is one of our growing business units. Our primary focus is recruiting for specialist expertise, technical innovation, and strategic support across the Nuclear and Defence sectors. Due to continued growth and success, we are actively recruiting a Recruitment Consultant to join the team.

The successful candidate will work alongside both the recruitment team and the TS&C management team and will be responsible for identifying, attracting and assessing qualified candidates for a variety of positions across the departments' array of nuclear and defence clients across the UK. This is a fast‑paced, dynamic & high‑volume recruitment role – the perfect opportunity for a driven individual who is looking to pursue a career in a professional and rewarding environment. BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferable.

Key Accountabilities

  • Actively source qualified candidates for the wider recruitment function, building talent pipelines and matching candidates to appropriate vacancies.
  • Conduct initial pre‑registration phone calls, building strong relationships with candidates and ensuring regular communication is maintained throughout the process.
  • Manage the full recruitment process, from sourcing, interviewing, offer management and onboarding.
  • Develop strong connections with technical leads to gain a deep understanding of role requirements and resource priorities.
  • Assist the wider HR team in delivering an excellent onboarding experience for new starters.
  • Support candidates through the security clearance process, both internal and external processes.
  • Ensure that all shortlisted candidates’ technical competencies are reviewed for SQEP by the most qualified internal assessor.
  • Advertise and manage vacancies.
  • Help to create recruitment campaigns.
  • Manage and support with monthly reports, ensuring all reports are updated in a timely manner.
  • Deliver seamless account management across client and stakeholder relationships.

Profile Occupational Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven background in Recruitment within an Engineering or highly regulated market.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong prioritisation of workload.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates, clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional understanding of deadlines and turnaround times in a fast‑paced environment.
