NUVIA UK's Technical Services & Consulting department is fast growing with hybrid opportunities available up and down the country. We're striving to create a multidisciplinary team to offer our clients the best range of talent. BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferrable.
Principal Accountabilities:
The Ventilation Engineer will be required to work closely with the multi‑discipline design team and plant‑based team. The Vent Engineer will be involved in the production of detail drawings, sub‑assemblies, GA, Layout drawings, Flow diagrams and parts lists. The production/compiling of technical documentation (technical specifications, RA's, Installation methodology docs, O&M manuals, etc) will be a requirement.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience of working within a highly regulated industry, preferably within the nuclear industry.
- A good understanding of the requirements associated with delivering ventilation designs in the nuclear sector.
- Experience in production of technical files.
- Competent report writing skills: clearly and concisely reporting findings.
- Liaison with key stakeholders and other design disciplines.
- Production and checking of ventilation engineering calculations & deliverables.
- The candidate will need to be able to communicate effectively with team members and with the Client.
- Working with and adherence to Sellafield Ltd processes and procedures, in particular checking and approval procedures.
