We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join a multi‑disciplinary engineering team operating within an Approval Authority environment. The role supports both current operations and future programmes, contributing to the delivery and assurance of critical infrastructure within a highly regulated environment.
You will work alongside Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, Building Services and Piping Engineers, collectively responsible for the development, assessment and maintenance of Engineering Design Substantiation. This work ensures that design intent, critical safety factors, and safety and operational requirements are satisfied in accordance with current legislation, regulation and recognised good practice.
Key Accountabilities
- Produce and manage design change and concession documentation
- Present design substantiation to formal nuclear safety governance and assurance committees
- Develop and maintain Examination, Inspection, Maintenance
