Role Overview: As a Commercial Sales Analyst at Nuix, you will be instrumental in enhancing our sales strategy through data analysis and collaboration. Your expertise will help drive performance, support decision‐making, and contribute to our overall business goals.
Role Location: This position will be based in our London office. The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the London office for the remaining days of the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Host monthly forecasting calls to provide accurate forecasts and analyse pipeline data to track KPIs and offer actionable insights.
- Pipeline & Risk Management: Identify pipeline bottlenecks and risks, ensuring alignment with sales targets and mitigating underperformance.
- Sales Team Performance & Support: Track and analyse sales metrics, provide regular updates to Executive Vice Presidents, and identify areas for improvement. Identify opportunities for efficient resource allocation and justify the ROI on sales roles, including new hires.
- Monthly Sales Revenue Metrics: Conduct reporting and analysis on KPIs (both standard group and EVP‐specific).
- Quota & Territory Management: Manage quota setting to ensure adequate coverage of overall numbers and assess ROI on representative productivity.
- Market & Customer Insights: Provide competitive analysis, market trends, and insights into customer behaviour and churn to drive retention and growth.
- Cross‐Functional Stakeholder Support: Share insights with Marketing, Pre‐Sales, and Professional Services on data points and operational improvements, ensuring global standards.
- Churn Analysis: Identify key risk opportunities, investigate churn reasons (including direct customer communication), collate and analyse data for global review, and identify trends while building a unified language around the details.
- Budget Planning: Conduct bottom‐up Annualised Contract Value (ACV) builds and provide insights into sales quotas, costs, and resource needs.
- P&L Reviews/Cost Control & Profitability: Review P&Ls with management, identifying key trends and inconsistencies while providing insights for the Group P&L review.
- Strategic Planning & Executive Review: Lead bi‐annual budgeting exercises, collate data for CEO/EVP reviews, and ensure the correct presentation of opportunities.
- Margin & Profitability Analysis: Provide data on sales performance by region, sub‐region, product, and sales representative.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales analysis, business analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‐paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools is a plus.
