We are hiring a Business Development Manager to help build and scale Nuggit’s brand partnerships function. This is a revenue-owning role focused on originating, structuring, and closing partnerships between brands and creators across our portfolio. You will operate end-to-end across the deal cycle, from sourcing opportunities and developing strategic pitches through to negotiation, close, and long-term relationship management. You will also work directly with creators to shape their commercial positioning, helping translate audience, content, and performance into compelling partnership opportunities.
This role sits at the core of Nuggit’s commercial engine and is suited to someone who is both commercially sharp and execution-focused - equally comfortable opening doors, closing deals, and building repeatable revenue streams. Our current portfolio is weighted towards sport, gaming, and adjacent cultural verticals, working with brands that consistently invest in these ecosystems.
Driving New Business
- Identify and unlock high-value partnerships with brands and agencies with an initial focus across sport, gaming, and lifestyle
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of opportunities through proactive outbound and inbound activity
- Leverage existing relationships while continuously expanding your network
- Develop creator-led partnership concepts that align with brand objectives and deliver measurable outcomes
- Build high-quality proposals, pitch decks, and responses to briefs
- Translate creator performance, audience data, and content strategy into commercially compelling narratives
- Help define how creators position themselves to brands
- Build long-term relationships with brands and agencies to drive repeat and scaled partnerships
- Identify opportunities to expand deals into broader or longer-term commercial relationships
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting within HubSpot (or equivalent CRM)
- Continuously refine sales materials, case studies, and commercial positioning
- Use data and post-campaign insights to improve conversion and deal quality over time
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in business development, partnerships, media sales, or creator/influencer marketing
- People with experience in one of the following would be a strong fit: media sales at digital publishers, BDM roles at media agencies, or brand partnerships roles at talent management companies.
- Strong understanding of how brands operate within sport, gaming, lifestyle, and creator ecosystems. Existing relationships with brands and agencies is a strong advantage
- Ability to open doors, build trust quickly, and convert conversations into commercial outcomes
- Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills
- Experience building proposals, decks, and partnership materials
