Nugent is seeking an experienced and motivated Support Worker to support the day-to-day operations across our Pathway West Services. These include:

  • St Joseph’s – a specialist rehabilitation service supporting individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, ACI, and a range of neurological conditions.
  • Childwall Park Avenue – a supported living service for young adults with physical and learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.
  • Lichfield Close – a specialised supported living service for individuals with autism and mental health needs.
  • Liverpool ICs – a unique service focused on enabling individuals to access their local community independently.

Experience and Skills

Essential:

  • Good listening and communication skills with people with a learning disability.
  • Ability to encourage and enable service users to make choices and take control of their lives.
  • Ability to assist with personal care while maintaining independence, privacy, and dignity.
  • Strong organisational and teamwork skills.
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office).

Desirable:

  • Previous healthcare experience, ideally supporting individuals with complex needs (physical and learning disabilities).

Hours Contract available: 19.5 hours or 39 hours.
