We are excited to announce that we are looking for experienced support workers to join our team at Lichfield Close. This facility offers a warm, home‑like environment where we provide residential support and care for three gentlemen with learning and physical difficulties. Our guiding principle is to provide services we would be happy for ourselves or our loved ones to receive. We empower individuals to live fulfilling lives and maintain their own tenancies. Your role will be vital in supporting each person's unique needs, tailoring our services to ensure that the individuals we assist are the key decision‑makers in their care. Our dedicated team works on a rota basis to provide the necessary support, fostering an environment of respect and dignity.

Experience and Skills

  • Good listening and communication skills with people with a learning disability.
  • Desirable but not essential: healthcare experience, preferably supporting individuals with complex needs (physical and learning disabilities).
  • Ability to encourage and enable service users to make choices, take control of their lives, and increase independence.
  • Ability to assist Service Users in all areas of personal care in ways that maintain independence, privacy, and dignity.
  • Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with a range of people and professionals.
  • Ability to respond to and complete paperwork.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office).

Hours: Contracts available – 19 hours or 39 hours.
