We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Adviser to join the People Team here at Nugent and help shape our colleague experience.

Hours of work: 37 hours per week; Monday - Friday; with the ability to work flexibly
Duration: An initial 12 months fixed term contract
Location: Homeworking/Remote with requirement to visit services as and when required
The Role: You will promote HR professional practice and maintain effective HR systems and procedures. This will include providing advice to managers and other colleagues on all matters of the employment life cycle, terms and conditions of employment, compliance, Nugent's policies and procedures and employment legislation. In addition, you will support the HR Business Partners in the effective management of Employment Relations Cases and Organisational Change Initiatives ensuring risks to the Charity are minimized. You will also be involved in developing and updating HR policies and guidance, ensuring these are in line with current legislation, as well as coaching managers on key policies and procedures, ensuring they have the right skills to effectively manage their team.
The Person: The successful candidate will:
- Have a proven track record of HR generalist experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Be an effective team player, able to work independently and to tight timescales
- Successfully manage and prioritise their workload
- Be passionate about embracing Nugent's iACCORD values and applying these in their day to day
- Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Be proficient in the use of HR software and Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Be CIPD qualified up to level 3 (or currently working towards)
