The role: NUGENT are seeking to recruit a Document Controller to our Contracts Department. You will be a motivated and reliable worker who brings enthusiasm and positivity to a team and you should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to: Pre-Construction Director

Position: Document Controller

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Implement and manage effective document control systems and procedures to ensure storage and distribution of engineering documents.
  • Maintain document control of the M&E documents including tracking the numerous versions, document numbering etc.
  • Coordination with Design Consultants, Main Contractors and so forth to review and update the documents, procedures and timelines of which they are due.
  • General admin of project documents.
  • Maintain high standards of work within your department.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent.
  • PC literate with competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, with a 'can-do' approach to work and willingness to learn and assist.
  • Organised and disciplined in your planning and approach to work.
  • Work well and confidently as part of a team in a busy environment.
