We are recruiting a Maintenance Technician for our team based at Nugent, Galbally, Dungannon, BT70 2PP.

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and repair of equipment and facilities. The successful candidate will carry out routine maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs to minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
  • Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed and parts used
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or technician role, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
  • Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
  • Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Qualifications (Desirable)

  • Relevant technical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Electrical certification or multi-skilled background is an advantage
