We are looking for experienced Support Workers who can make a real difference. As a Support Worker with Activities, you will play a key role in creating an inclusive and supportive atmosphere that respects dignity and promotes independence.
Responsibilities
- Organise and deliver personalised daily activities for residents.
- Provide emotional and physical support to help individuals transition towards independent living.
- Work across Ainsdale locations as part of a dedicated team.
Margaret Roper House in Southport provides a nurturing, home‑like environment for adults living with ongoing mental and physical health challenges. Together with Ainsdale Care in the Community, we are part of Nugent a values‑driven organisation dedicated to delivering compassionate, high‑quality care to vulnerable adults with long‑term mental health needs.
Qualifications
- Effective communication and organisational skills.
- A valid driving licence (desirable) to operate the home transport.
- Experience working with vulnerable adults.
- Commitment to completing the Care Certificate within 12 weeks.
- Compassion, empathy, reliability, and dedication to ongoing training.
- Ability to work on a rolling rota, including weekends.
