As a Mammographer at our hospital, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, and have a Mammography postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge.
Ideally, you'll have more than 2 years' experience and also have the ability to work accurately and compassionately.
Responsibilities
- See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy
- Deliver a high-quality mammography service supporting the breast clinic as well as the breast screening service.
- Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities.
- Supervise and develop junior colleagues
- Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion
