Our Physiotherapy Department currently has an opportunity for a Physiotherapy Administrator. Start your journey with us whilst we\'ll support you to be your best.
The role
Working in a small department of 5 permanent physiotherapy staff you will assist in the day to day running of the department. As an integral part of the team, as our Physiotherapy Administrator you will:
- Arrange and manage appointments
- Answer enquiries by telephone and email
- Take payments for outpatient appointments
- Organise bank staff rotas
- Be the point of contact for other departments in the hospital and Head office departments such as IT and finance ensuring any matters are resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide other administration support to the team as required such as filing and photocopying.
The person
To succeed as a Physiotherapy administrator you will:
- Have good IT and keyboard skills
- Good communication and customer service skills including a good telephone manner
- Experience of working within an administration team
- An excellent team player with the ability to use initiative when required
- Flexible
- Articulate and approachable
