The opportunity

As a People Administrator, you'll be part of a busy and collaborative People Services team, managing a varied caseload of enquiries and requests from colleagues and managers across the business.

As a key member of our service team, you'll investigate, respond to and resolve cases relating to all stages of the employee lifecycle, from supporting new starters as they join us to assisting colleagues as they leave, and everything in between.

You'll provide efficient, accurate and customer-focused support, ensuring every interaction delivers a positive experience while meeting high standards of accuracy, confidentiality and compliance.

Alongside your case management responsibilities, you'll also contribute to a range of administrative activities, team initiatives and People projects that support the effective delivery of our HR services.

As our People Administrator you will

  • Manage your own workload and caseload, prioritising tasks effectively to ensure responses and resolutions are in line with service level agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, managers and stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service at every interaction.
  • Maintain accurate employee records across HR, payroll and case management systems.
  • Adhere to GDPR requirements, handling sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Ensure accurate data capture and system updates to maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy.

T o succeed as a People (HR) Administrator, you will need

  • Previous experience in an administration role, ideally within HR, payroll or a shared services environment.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and experience of HR and case management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, flexible and solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
