As a Theatre Nurse / ODP in Anaesthetic & Recovery at our Shrewsbury Hospital, you\’ll be registered with the appropriate governing body. You have the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. You must have scrub work experience. Plus, you bring post-registration experience, flexibility and excellent communication skills. You\’re also a great team worker.
Responsibilities

- Enjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
- Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff
- Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
- Interact well with colleagues on the ward, understanding that continuity in patient care is key
- Required to be on call, while being on call you will receive 10% of your hourly rate
About Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital
Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as \’Good\’ in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities. We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women\’s health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.
