Shifts Available:
We are looking to recruit two friendly and organised Radiology Administrators to join our radiology department, primarily focusing on patient appointment bookings and telephone communication. You will be the first point of contact for patients and referrers, managing high volumes of phone enquiries and ensuring smooth scheduling within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage patient appointment bookings efficiently and accurately, primarily via telephone
Respond promptly and professionally to a high volume of phone enquiries from patients, GPs, and hospital staff
Process referral forms and coordinate appointments with consultants and imaging services
Provide reception duties and respond to face-to-face and email enquiries as required
Support colleagues to maintain effective departmental workflows
Use CRIS and PACS radiology IT systems to assist with administrative tasks
Assist with image transfers between hospitals when needed
What We\'re Looking for:
Excellent telephone communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational and IT skills with attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and work well under pressure
Reliable, professional, and a good team player
Knowledge of medical terminology and previous healthcare administrative experience is desirable
