Note: Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Porter at our hospital, you’ll need to be a good communicator, as this role involves helping our patients feel relaxed and reassured before and after surgery. It’s also essential that you’re happy to undergo our Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks as part of your application.
As a Hospital Porter, you will:
- Be part of a close-knit professional team
- Collect and return patients to their rooms before and after surgery
