We are looking for a Change Lead to join the People Services Performance & Improvement team with significant experience improving HR systems and operational processes, with strong hands-on knowledge of Workday. This role is centred on enhancing the effectiveness, accuracy, and efficiency of our People Operations environment through system changes, process optimisation, and well-governed ways of working.
Working closely with HR, Technology, and Data teams, you will lead system changes, process redesign, and operational improvement projects that strengthen our employee services and ensure our People Operations function runs smoothly and efficiently.
As the People Operations Change Lead you will:
- Work with the core Workday Tech Team to deliver configuration updates that keep business processes efficient and aligned with People Operations priorities.
- Translate operational requirements into clear system changes and support technical colleagues through delivery.
- Build project plans, timelines, business cases, and benefits measures for HR system and workflow improvements.
- Lead end-to-end digital and operational projects across People Services, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring delivery meets governance standards.
- Act as a custodian of People processes, ensuring they are well-defined, consistent, documented, and compliant.
- Coach colleagues on process ownership and continuous improvement practices.
- Communicate change clearly and support user adoption through training, guidance, and engagement.
To succeed as our People Change Lead you will bring:
- Experience leading HR system and operational improvement projects.
- Strong practical Workday experience (business processes, condition rules, diagnosing issues).
- Proven project management skills and a track record of delivering system or process enhancements.
- Confidence working with data and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid understanding of HR processes and the employee data lifecycle.
