Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient’s needs. Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around. Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities. Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care.

Location and Hospital: Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital located in Jesmond. One of the north east's leading private hospitals, with a Good CQC rating. We have 27 en-suite private bedrooms, 3 state-of-the-art operating theatres, a dedicated breast care unit, on-site pathology services and diagnostic imaging including CT and MRI. To help patients after surgery we have on-site physiotherapy specialists. We focus on orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, weight loss surgery and cosmetic treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support ward operations as a Staff Nurse (RGN) on a fixed-term basis (maternity leave).
  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safety and compassionate communication with patients and families.
  • Collaborate with clinicians across departments to maintain continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and patient-centered ward environment.

Job Details:

  • Contract: Fixed term - Maternity leave
  • Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week plus weekend work
