The cardiology department in our Leeds Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist / Cardiac Scientist with invasive experience to join us on a bank contract. Continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.
As a Cardiac Physiologist at our Leeds Hospital, you'll hold a BTEC ONC and HNC Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement and / or BSc Healthcare Science (Cardiology) / BSc Clinical Physiology (Cardiac Physiology) or equivalent. You're currently registered with the RCCP or AHCS as a Cardiac Physiologist or Clinical Scientist. Ideally, you're also accredited with SCST and BSE. You're an excellent communicator, flexible, motivated and a team player.
As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will:
- Work in the cardiac catheter lab, supporting a range of interventional procedures including but not limited to diagnostic angiography including left and right heart studies
- PCI including pressure wire analysis
- PFO closures
- Support with other non-invasive cardiac diagnostics including ambulatory ECG analysis, exercise tolerance testing and 12 lead ECGs
