Inpatient Physiotherapist (Bank)

Up to £19.00 per hour, dependent on experience
Hours - Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Physiotherapist at our Plymouth Hospital, you’ll have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. You also have excellent manual therapy skills, and you’re committed to developing as a practitioner. You’re a confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people.
As a Physiotherapist, you will:
Work across Inpatients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative cases
Be part of our multidisciplinary team of nurses, AHPs and consultants, supported by a regional Clinical Lead
Help our patients achieve, maintain and recover to their aspired level of health and wellbeing
Deliver excellent clinical care that’s safe, effective, caring, well-led and responsive to patients’ needs
Be compliant with all governance standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance processes

Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital
The Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital is situated next to the Nuffield Health Devonshire Gym, in Derriford, Plymouth and we have been part of the Plymouth community since 1971. We have 3 main theatres – 2 laminar flow and 1 digital, a fully JAG accredited endoscopy suite, a 35-bedded ward with one 4 bedded bay and one 2 bedded bay. Our outpatients department has 12 consulting rooms with a dedicated ophthalmology suite and ENT service. We carry out treatment under a range of specialities including Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery. We recently were rated in the top 50 hospitals in the country for our total hip replacement patient outcomes.
