As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward at our hospital, you’ll demonstrate your ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You should have a good telephone manner, excellent computer and database skills, and be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward, you will:
- Put patient care first
- Carry out administrative duties
- Support a team of Registered Nurses and consultants in delivering exceptional patient care, pre and post surgery
- Spend time to get to know our patients
- Meet the needs of every individual
- Use your organisational skills to make a positive impact and enhance patient experience
