Your role at Nuffield Health
Working alongside our experienced Health and Wellbeing Physiologists, you will deliver a variety of face‑to‑face Health Assessments and GP consultations, focusing on wellbeing. No quotas or unrealistic targets – just great care. You will utilise our user‑friendly platforms and benefit from enhanced pathways while having access to our state‑of‑the‑art clinics and a national network of hospitals. There are also opportunities to contribute to our charitable purpose through programmes that partner with the NHS, other healthcare providers, research institutes and charities.
As a GP and Health Assessment Doctor, you will be
- On the GMC register, on the GP register and have a licence to practice
- Willing to provide a minimum of 2 days per week
- After qualifying as a GP, have completed 6 months GP experience of 6 sessions per week in the UK with knowledge of UK care pathways. The 6 months must be in a traditional GP setting (NHS GP surgery). Other work, including out‑of‑hours work, does not count.
- In the last 6 months, must have worked a minimum of 4 sessions per week as a GP
- Competent in a range of health screening services, such as smear tests, breast examinations and venepuncture, and interpreting results and ECGs.
