Main duties of the job:
- Have a completed UKONS SACT passport.
- Be proficient in cannulation and venepuncture and able to access CVADs.
- Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring.
- Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues, mentoring them to be their best.
- Use excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient's needs.
- Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care.
- Provide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students.
- Contribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews and training.

This role is part of a bank system; hours are ad-hoc based on business needs. The Senior Staff Nurse β Oncology will work closely with consultants, lead by example, and support patient care and staff development.

Qualifications:
- Registered with the appropriate governing body, holding NMC registration.
- Relevant qualifications and post-registration experience in oncology nursing.
- Experience in mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures.
- Knowledge of teaching, assessment, and management principles preferred.
