We are looking for a Clinical Leader for our hospital to help us build a healthier nation. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and post registration in surgery/anaesthetics experience, including as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner.

With strong clinical leadership, you will guide your team with a shared vision promoting innovation and sustainability. As a clinical leader, you will have good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge and understanding of running a smooth and effective department is also essential.

As our Clinical Leader, you will:

  • Conduct and organize the Clinical/Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre, which includes the smooth running of the theatre lists and organizing booking forms and assisting sessions in theatres.
  • Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department, which include Endoscopy, General, Orthopedics, and Gynae.
  • Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department, including safety and risk management, quality improvement, and ensure policies and procedures to enhance patient care and service delivery.
  • Have extensive knowledge required for dealing with audits and equipment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment.
  • Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.

We have 27 en-suite private bedrooms, 3 state-of-the-art operating theatres, and a dedicated breast care unit. We offer on-site pathology services and diagnostic imaging including CT and MRI. To help patients after surgery, we have on-site physiotherapy specialists. We have a special focus in the areas of orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, weight loss surgery, and cosmetic treatment.
