We are looking for a Bookings Administrator in our Ipswich Hospital who will be responsible for administering a large volume of email requests from referrals to appointments, ensuring the hospital meets its service deliverables whilst exceeding customer expectations. Preferably you will hold an NVQ level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent and experience of working in a customer-facing environment, to help us build a healthier nation.
As our Bookings Administrator you will:
- Bring empathy, sympathy and sensitivity to the role.
- Ensure complex administration and support meets the required standards and timescales.
- Have attention to detail ensuring all data/information is accurate using the appropriate system and format.
- Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports as required by the department.
- Handle appointment bookings and changes.
- Co-ordinate availability of rooms and consultants.
- Create, alter or cancel clinics as required to support business needs.
