As our Clinical Educator you’ll deliver a best in class Nursing curriculum that meets the learning needs of RN’s, HCAs, Nurse Associates and pre-registration Nurses. You’ll support the delivery of multi-disciplinary programmes that facilitate initial registration e.g., Adaptation and Graduate Development Programmes. You’ll work as an integral part of the Learning Foundation Nurse Education team playing a fundamental role in the day-to-day design and delivery of Nursing education, professional development activity, and the delivery of exceptional service and customer experience through robust and measurable learning interventions.
As Our Clinical Educator, You Will:
- Act as a subject matter expert for Nurse Education and Learning & Development, representing the Learning Foundation at internal/external meets and events, as required.
- Design and deliver bespoke learning solutions (both in-house and in conjunction with expert third parties) that utilise appropriate learning methodologies.
- Provide SME guidance on learning solutions within area of expertise as required e.g., Student placements, Pre-registration education, Nurse Education; Mandatory, Role Essential and CPD activity.
- Support with the delivery of an innovative/best in class externally-facing clinical education curriculum that delivers financial and/or social value for charity.
- Provide learner support across designated clinical education programmes, ensuring positive learning outcomes.
To Succeed As Our Clinical Educator, You Will Be/have:
- Registered Nurse; active registration with the NMC.
- Degree (or equivalent) with a track record of designing and delivering learning and development programmes.
- Level 3 AET (or equivalent).
- Practice Assessor.
- Post-registration nursing qualification in area of specialism e.g., PG Cert in Clinical Education is desirable.
- Experience of learning design and delivery.
- Demonstrable ability to manage quality assurance processes.
- Good knowledge of how to create learning that is accessible and inclusive.
- Proven skills in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning strategies.
