We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dedicated Breast Care team. As a Breast Care Nurse at Nuffield Health, The Holly Hospital, you'll be registered with the NMC and have post-registration experience in breast care and oncology nursing. As a Breast CNS, you will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their breast care journey. You will provide specialist nursing advice, emotional support, and education to help patients make informed decisions about their care. Working closely with patients, consultants and a wider multidisciplinary team, you will ensure continuity of care and an exceptional patient experience.

As a Breast Care Nurse you’ll bring:

  • NMC Registration with post-registration experience within breast care
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Advanced skills in the management of patients with early and advanced breast cancer, including the management of complex needs
  • Work directly with consultants who are experts in their field
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Experience networking between NHS and other private healthcare providers
  • To assist with all aspects of breast care provision in association with the multidisciplinary team (MDT)
  • To take responsibility for own evidence based practice and to ensure awareness of current research to support and underpin specialist advice
  • To develop all staff within the multidisciplinary team, providing support, advice, formal and informal education
  • Experience working within Private healthcare (desirable)
