We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dedicated Breast Care team. As a Breast Care Nurse at Nuffield Health, you will be registered with the NMC and have post-registration experience in breast care and oncology nursing. You will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their breast care journey, providing specialist nursing advice, emotional support, and education to help patients make informed decisions about their care.
As a Breast Care Nurse, you will bring:
- NMC Registration with post-registration experience within breast care
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Advanced skills in the management of patients with early and advanced breast cancer, including the management of complex needs
- Work directly with consultants who are experts in their field
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Advanced communication skills
- Experience networking between NHS and other private healthcare providers
- To assist with all aspects of breast care provision in association with the multidisciplinary team (MDT)
- To take responsibility for own evidence-based practice and to ensure awareness of current research to support and underpin specialist advice
- To develop all staff within the multidisciplinary team, providing support, advice, formal and informal education
- Experience working within Private healthcare (desirable)
