As a Scrub Practitioner/ Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our hospital, you'll be focused, detailâoriented, empathetic with great communication skills. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With postâregistration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment, you're a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Work in a multiâdisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
- Use stateâofâtheâart technology, equipment and facilities
- Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
- Provide highâquality perioperative care in a multiâdisciplinary team setting
- Create highâquality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidenceâbased

Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital is situated next to the Nuffield Health Devonshire Gym, in Derriford, Plymouth and we have been part of the Plymouth community since 1971. We have 3 main theatres â 2 laminar flow and 1 digital, a fully JAG accredited endoscopy suite, a 35âbeded ward with one 4âbeded bay and one 2âbeded bay. Our outpatients department has 12 consulting rooms. We carry out treatment under a range of specialities including Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery. We recently were rated in the top 50 hospitals in the country for our total hip replacement patient outcomes.
