Overview
Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital is recruiting for a Staff Nurse – Pre Assessment. This is a permanent, part-time position (15 hours per week) in Leicester. Salary up to £36,250 pro rata, dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service
- As the first point of contact, work with leading professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery
- Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care
- Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family
- Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care
- Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities
- Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key
Qualifications
You must be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC) and bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration. Post-registration experience is desirable and you should be a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

Leicester Hospital has 28 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 laminar flow theatres, an Endoscopy Suite, a minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms. The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments, supported by modern technology. It is recognised for services to Children and Young People and hosts a Fitness & Wellbeing Gym in Leicester.
