As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward at our hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. You will be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, and hold relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward, you will:
- Put patient care first
- Carry out administrative duties
- Support a team of Registered Nurses and consultants in the delivery of exceptional patient care, pre and post surgery

The Hospital has 28 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 Laminar flow theatres, Endoscopy Suite, minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms. The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services using the best possible technologies. Since 2015 we have invested in a static MRI unit, a new digital X-ray room & digital mammography. We are a local centre of excellence for Children and Young People Services.
