We are looking for a Bookings Administrator in our Ipswich Hospital responsible for managing a large volume of email requests from referrals to appointments, ensuring the hospital meets its service standards while exceeding customer expectations. Ideally, you will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent and have experience working in a customer-facing environment to help us build a healthier nation.

As our Bookings Administrator, you will:

  • Bring empathy, sympathy, and sensitivity to the role.
  • Ensure complex administration and support meet the required standards and timescales.
  • Pay attention to detail to ensure all data/information is accurate using the appropriate system and format.
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc reports as required by the department.
  • Handle appointment bookings and changes.
  • Coordinate availability of rooms and consultants.
  • Create, alter, or cancel clinics as needed to support business requirements.
