As a Senior Staff Nurse, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC. You bring post-registration experience, knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Ideally, you hold qualifications in teaching and assessment, and management.
Responsibilities:- Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring
- Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues, mentoring them to be the best they can be
- Use your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient’s needs
- Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care
- Provide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students
- Contribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews and training
- Have experience in urology, be able to teach ISC, give BCG and Mitomycin
- Be proficient in phlebotomy
- Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service
- Fully assess each patient’s needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care
